I am aware that people are going to be Complete Assholes on the internet, yes I`m aware of that. Every fan base has there moments and has fan brats. To me in my honest opinion, It`s okay to hate a fictional character. But If you despise that fictional character Like there a real person, I`m sorry but you really need to go see a doctor if your that insane about something thats not real. In conclusion please respect people opinions and be grateful for what Sega, Archie, or whatever and let people have there fun with Sonic. You don`t HAVE to like everything Sonic related to be considered a true Sonic fan. Sonic was meant to be enjoyed not complain and get up set because you don`t want a certain character in there. You should`nt be ashamed to like any universe of Sonic

I agree with you, everyone has their opinions on sonic couples and sonic in general, I am one of those good fans out there that has a healthy fan-love and respect for the blue blur and whatever game he is in or the comic series. I don't go batshit crazy over what other people think and truthfully I think it's flat out rude to send out death threats over something fictional. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE??! Half the time the people saying that shit are kids aka Fanbrats who don't know anything about Sonic or seen the series throughout the years like we have.
It sickens me how far the fanbase has fallen, at times I have wanted to leave the fanbase, but I stay strong and hang in there. I think that most people don't like a strong female role model or a "mother type figure." Sally is seen as a threat because she is intelligent, pretty, and mature. These are things that Amy is not sadly and I wish they'd change her personality BADLY. Amy is immature, obsessive, and childish at times. That is why Sonic spends most of the games running from Amy. He sees her as a child and not as a woman. Another reason for the Sally hate (and this is not the only fandom) is because she is a threat to their female OCs being with Sonic or some slash pairing with Sonic. Me personally, I like Sally.
In the end, we are all just fans who love this series and the characters that populate it regardless of how they act or who they are, whether we hate or love them, we have a right of opinion but if you go batshit crazy over a character or what other people think, your a retard or a idiot. Don't you agree?
